What we’re looking for

The Solutions Consulting Team supports clients and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle and reports to the manager of Sales Engineering. As a Sales Solutions Consultant, you will provide pre-sales technical, functional, and strategic support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. In addition to supporting the sales team in pre-sales conversations, you will collaborate across the organization, including with product, marketing, legal, and security.

What you’ll be working on

  • Support our prospective clients and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle by translating features into value drivers for their business.
  • Provide functional and technical expertise in the pre-sales phase, including knowledge of SurveyMonkey’s platform, APIs, Mobile SDKs, and additional solutions.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and custom Security Reviews.
  • Be a customer advocate internally while working with other teams including Product, support, engineering, and sales.
  • Provide training to improve product knowledge and demo abilities.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the competitive landscape and become an expert in the CX space.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 3+ years experience as a Sales Consultant, Sales Engineer, or equivalent role with a focus on SaaS.
  • A curious and inquisitive mind with an interest in exploring and self-teaching new programs and integrations.
  • Comfortable presenting to a variety of customers (even on executive level). 
  • A technical background with experience working with APIs.
  • Experience delivering SaaS demonstrations and writing technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.  
  • Ability to communicate written and orally in English at the B2+ level. 
  • HTML, CSS, and some Javascript knowledge is preferred. 

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
