Software Development Intern - Address Intelligence Platform

Responsibilities
Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of AIP software services using C# or Java.
Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance.
Use CI/CD practices to build, test and deploy code changes.
Participate in your team’s agile scrum sprints and ceremonies
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the system.
Support the deployment of software updates and maintenance of system performance.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in C# or Java.
Knowledge of additional programming languages, including Python, TypeScript or JavaScript.
Experience with AWS or Azure is an asset.
Strong understanding of data structures.
Experience designing and implementing relational databases
Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
Strong collaboration and communication skills
