Software Developer in Test (SDiT)

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deploymentpipelines.
Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality of code.
Conduct performance and load testing by simulating various user scenarios and stressconditions to identify performance bottlenecks.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute andevaluate these test cases to identify potential software issues.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
Identify, document, track and report bugs and performance issues to the development team.
Promote a “Shift Left” approach within the team to help detect issues earlier in the softwaredevelopment lifecycle.
Contribute to the evolution of testing strategies and tools.
Other duties as assigned, related to quality assurance and software development.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
Solid understanding of various testing types including unit, integration, end-to-end (E2E),regression, performance, API, and basic security testing.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#).
Experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright or equivalents.
Experience in creating test strategies and detailed test plans.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., ADO, GitHub Actions) and version control systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with AI coding assistants.
High degree of autonomy and resourcefulness.
Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
