Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer in Test (SDiT) to join our team. In this role, you will assist and participate in the development and improvement of our software platforms by ensuring high-quality standards through automated testing. You will work closely with various software development squads and stakeholders, contributing to enhancing system functionality, reliability, and efficiency. Detailed Role Overview
As a Software Developer in Test, you will be deeply involved in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. The projects you will work on include test automation for our logistics and delivery platforms, giving you the chance to contribute directly to Intelcom’s growth and operational excellence. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers and have the opportunity to influence testing strategies and best practices across teams.
Responsibilities
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute and evaluate these test cases to identify potential software issues.
Maintain and update documentation related to test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure clarity and consistency.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
Conduct performance and load testing by simulating various user scenarios and stress conditions to identify performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality of code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Identify, document, track and report bugs and performance issues to the development team.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
Contribute to the evolution of testing strategies and tools.
Other duties as assigned, related to quality assurance and software development.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
Solid understanding of various testing types including unit, integration, end-to-end (E2E), regression, performance, API, and basic security testing.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Java).
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Experience in API testing using Postman or Insomnia.
Experience in mobile automation using Appium (Android and or iOS)
Experience with test frameworks in any language (Pytest, Cypress, Nunit)
Experience in creating test strategies and detailed test plans.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., ADO, GitHub Actions) and version control systems.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
