About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Software Developer to join our Software Engineering team.

As a software developer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for supporting our human resources management system, Contact People (Workday), and continuously improving its functionality.

The person we are looking for must be interested and motivated in learning Workday and cloud technologies.

What you’ll do here:

  • Improve and/or develop functionality to meet user needs by designing solutions, solving problems, producing estimates, programming, testing and documenting these.
  • Develop integrations with the usage application including the following types: Workday Studio, Core Connectors, API, EIB, etc.
  • Provide support to our internal customers on current integrations and implementations.
  • Be involved in the developer community, participate in continuous improvement and promote best practices.
  • Support various projects and enhancements.
  • Assist in the deployment of production systems to ensure their smooth operation.
  • Resolve incidents, trouble tickets and anomalies.
  • Improve and/or develop functionalities to meet user needs by designing solutions, solving problems, producing estimates, programming, testing and documenting them.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree or DEC in computer science or any combination of equivalent training and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in software development.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Knowledge of Scrum methodology and DevOps practices is an asset.
  • Skills in integration technologies such as Web Services, XML, XML functional transformation language (XSLT), Java, .Net or others.
  • Familiarity with Workday components. (HCM, ISB, RaaS, Application Programming Interface, WD Connectors, WD Studio, WD Extend) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Java and generic knowledge of software-on-demand systems (SaaS) or cloud technology is an asset.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country. 
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
