What you’ll do 

We are looking for a UX Researcher to play a key role in shaping and expanding our newly established research practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement best practices in UX research, collaborate closely with Product, UX Design, and Engineering teams, and drive impactful insights that will directly influence our digital experiences.

As a UX Researcher, you will be at the forefront of discovering, validating, and shaping ideas by conducting mixed-methods research and sharing actionable insights through engaging presentations and clear documentation. You will work end-to-end on research projects - either independently or by guiding and empowering colleagues through our research democratization approach. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for understanding users, uncovering meaningful insights, and inspiring teams to create exceptional user experiences.

  • Foster a deep understanding of our customers and our industry, and elevate an insights-driven culture to the organization
  • Collaborate with Product Design, Product and Development to identify and prioritize research opportunities
  • Plan and execute mixed methods user-centered research, including generative interviews, concept-testing, contextual inquiry/observations, evaluative studies and moderated and unmoderated usability testing
  • Incorporate user metrics and business KPIs into your research approach to ensure actionable and measurable outcomes
  • Communicate results, translating findings into actionable recommendations, advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations
  • Actively participate in project and recurring team meetings
  • Build trusting relationships with partners and team members
  • Help democratize the UXR practice by assisting Product Designers with a self-testing program
​​What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of professional experience doing qualitative user research, including: Design Sprints, field research, 1:1 interviews, focus groups, concept testing, running beta tests, and survey design and analysis
  • Experience and knowledge of B2B practices and technology is a must
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and an ability to persuasively articulate design rationale
  • Experience in working in an agile development process
  • Proficiency in various research methodologies, such in-person and remote facilitation, and contextual inquiries
  • Experience collaborating across teams, including Product Design, and Development
  • Ability to track and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and identify further areas of research
  • Compelling portfolio that showcases your research, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s or MS in a human behavior related field (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)
