Serve as Braze technical and product SME; design and maintain integrations, player data models, pipelines, and migrations; partner with CRM/Marketing/Product to deliver personalised engagement; monitor performance and deliverability; ensure security, privacy, consent, and compliance; document architecture and support incident response for marketing systems.

Responsibilities:- Own Braze as the technical and product SME, driving platform strategy, configuration, and best practices.
- Build and maintain integrations connecting Braze with player accounts, sportsbook, casino, CRM, data platforms, and third-party services.
- Design player data models, events, attributes, segments, subscriptions, and environments to support personalised engagement.
- Lead Braze implementations and migrations, ensuring reliable data, smooth cutovers, and minimal disruption to player communications.
- Build pipelines that keep player profiles, wagering activity, events, and segments accurate and up to date.
- Partner with CRM, Marketing, and Product to turn player engagement requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Monitor platform usage, campaign performance, deliverability, and data consumption to identify opportunities and improve effectiveness.
- Evaluate and support adjacent platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CDPs.
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, consent, and responsible gaming requirements.
- Document architecture, integrations, and runbooks while supporting monitoring and incident response for critical marketing systems.

Qualifications Experience Preferred 6+ years of software engineering experience building and integrating production systems. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable customer engagement platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Airship, Adobe Campaign). Experience in iGaming, sports betting, casino, or other regulated industries is preferred. Backend development and integration experience with APIs, webhooks, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS. Backend development skills in Node.js, C# (.NET Core/6+), Python, or Java. Proven ability to lead platform implementations, migrations, and integrations from design through production support. Experience partnering with CRM, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams as a technical owner. Excellent understanding of security, privacy, PII, consent, and compliance in high-volume consumer environments. Familiarity with AI-driven personalisation and engagement is an asset.Similar Jobs
