The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst shall be accountable for guaranteeing product quality and comprehensive end-to-end testing across all applications within the deployment environment. This individual will participate in the creation, upkeep, and execution of functional, integration, and regression test suites. Providing thorough, lucid defect reports and collaborating with both the development and support teams to ensure all products adhere to established quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

The Senior QA Analyst for the Datalinx Squad reports to: the Head of Enterprise Data Delivery, who serves as the Cluster Lead for Datalinx.

Must Haves: 

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance

• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience with automated testing tools

• Previous experience in Capital Markets Industry, specifically with equity markets and data quality management 

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks

• Proven experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Experience providing first level RCA of issues.

• Experience working in AWS, with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Hive,   

• Strong SQL skills, Python testing with requests

• Experience with Automation of Software application testing

• Experience with Tools such as Selenium

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail

Nice to Have(s):

• Shell Scripting experience

• Agile/waterfall software development process

• Ability to multitask

• Must be a self-starter with ability to follow through on projects assigned
