SUMMARY 

Working within the Leger Opinion team a Senior Project Manager, under the supervision of the Senior Director, is responsible for supporting the various parties involved in the life cycle of a Web mandate, from beginning to end.  

This role requires the ability to manage complex projects from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly while maintaining constant and effective communication with clients. It involves overseeing various project types, such as sample-only projects, full-service projects, IHUTs, Bulletin Boards, and more. Achieving excellence in this role relies on strong project management skills, customer service expertise, coordination capabilities, and technical knowledge relevant to web mandates and data collection.  

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships, the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and project elements effectively, and a solid understanding of the technical aspects of web mandates and related projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Understand and meet client needs, expectations, and requirements while maintaining a positive client relationship. 
  • Provide proactive advice, anticipate potential problems, and offer constructive feedback during and after project completion. 
  • Manage daily web project activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth project execution, including sample and fieldwork coordination. 
  • Conduct feasibility analyses and suggest appropriate web criteria and sampling strategies. 
  • Ensure quality control of web questionnaires, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively. 
  • Monitor project costs, validate parameters, and address any budget discrepancies. 
  • Foster strong working relationships and knowledge sharing across departments, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • At least two (2) years of experience in the market research industry at the operational level 
  • At least five (5) years of experience in project management 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify potential challenges and develop effective solutions to address them 
  • Communications skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

SKILLS 

  • Quickly understand and respond to client needs, proactively proposing solutions 
  • Efficiently manage change requests and make decisions impacting service quality 
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and teams 
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, including clear communication and multitasking across various projects 
  • Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, identifying and resolving issues under pressure 
  • Mobilize and engage teams, even without direct authority, to achieve project goals 
  • Command technical and internal IT tools relevant to project management and execution 

Knowledge of English is required for this position, as the candidate will need to communicate regularly, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, partners, or suppliers located outside Quebec, draft bilingual internal documents, and participate in meetings held in English. The employer has assessed the possibility of redistributing tasks or using language support tools, but has concluded that proficiency in English is essential to carrying out these duties.
