Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Project Manager, People Projects - Temporary, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects from brief through to delivery. You will partner with Program Managers to define project objectives, scope, budget, resource allocations, approvals and success criteria. You will be leading projects that will evolve, innovate and scale our People programming for our employees globally. Your knowledge of project management, combined with your strategic thinking, strong partnership and communication skills will empower you to manage an efficient end-to-end process and deliver exceptional results.
This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

This team is the conduit between People & Culture experiences, programs and projects, and our cross-functional partners - enabling growth, scaling our capabilities and activating our culture to achieve our business goals. We create and implement standard operating principles to ensure a consistent experience for our global and regional employees. We work in close partnership with our cross-functional partners within People & Culture, and across the organization.
If you were the Senior Project Manager, People Projects - Temporary, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Leading the strategic planning, execution and governance of all assigned projects; focused primarily on Employee Experience Events and Talent Management workstreams ensuring they are delivered on-time, on-budget and in line with our standard operating principles
- Manage end-to-end P&C creative projects by owning the full creative intake process, including managing creative briefs, coordination of timelines across all stakeholders, and facilitating execution through to delivery across all P&C creative projects
- Liaising between brand-approved creative agencies and freelancers with the internal Brand Creative team to ensure that all P&C creative outputs are aligned with brand standards and voice, while driving consistency, quality and stakeholder satisfaction
- Overseeing translation and localization workflows for assigned projects by managing the partnership with external vendors and our internal Brand Localization team, coordinating timelines, and ensuring accurate, high-quality delivery of multilingual content across global P&C projects
- Maintaining a prioritized outline of projects, milestones, action items and status reports for all assigned projects
- Providing strategic guidance & thought partnership to Program Owners and Project Teams, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities and deliverables
- Developing and managing operational project plans, roadmaps & calendars specific to the projects that you are leading
- Building and maintaining relationships with key partners across the organization
- Coordinating and communicating effectively with project partners, including cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure visibility, engagement and on-going alignment
- Proactively identifying, assessing and managing project risks and recommending mitigation strategies
- Ensuring project documentation is well-documented, current and complete
- Championing process innovation & optimization within the People Projects team to continuously evolve operational practices, tools, process and workflow

Are you our next Senior Project Manager, People Projects - Temporary?
- You have 5-7 years experience in complex Project Management, Event Management and ideally a degree or diploma in project management
- You have a relentless attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
- You are experienced leading projects that work with creatives (agencies and freelancers), environmental design and in leading the development of bringing creative concepts and projects to life
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide insights and guide work across the department and business
- You ideally have experience in People and Culture (Human Resources) related programming such as learning & development, total rewards, people analytics, talent management, systems and/or operations programs in a global business landscape
- You have the ability to influence and guide without direct control
- You are proficient in creating, organizing and leading efficient and effective workflow and project plans
- You have advanced experience using project management platforms and tools (Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc)
- You are proficient in budget management, financial tracking and reporting
- You can collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment to drive results
- You are capable of finding simple, scalable solutions for complex problems and developing others to do the same
- You are proficient in managing a portfolio of projects and leading change through others
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships at all levels
- You have a commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and personal development
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You have strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint)
