Job Description

The OS Esports team builds and maintains r6esports.com, internal tools and data pipelines that support Rainbow Six Siege esports competitions worldwide, from regional leagues to global majors.  

The team around 10 people spanning engineering, business analysis and QA, working closely with Ubisoft's broader Esports, R6 and OS teams.    

The role  

We're looking for a Sr Product Manager to own the technology and data roadmap powering one of the most competitive esports ecosystems in the world, as well managing technical readiness for global events.  

You sit at the intersection of marketing website, esports operations, data infrastructure, live broadcast tools, working across disciplines to ship products that have an impact on R6 and esports stages.  

This role reports to the OS Player Services director with the aim of transitioning to the R6 Esports management who owns the strategic esports product vision.  

What you'll own 

R6 esports product portfolio  

  • Drive the product roadmap for esports tech and data tools, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term innovation.  

  • Translate business and competitive requirements into clear product specs, working alongside the technical lead and dev team.  

  • Run discovery cycles: define problems, validate solutions, and prioritize based on impact for the R6 esports ecosystem.  

  • Identify synergy opportunities and manage the convergence between out-of-game product portfolio and in-game features/tools that support R6 esports department's objectives  

  • Assess viability of new or improved tech partnerships and define their scope and requirements, in collaboration with internal (EVE Cell & OS) and external stakeholders (GRID, AWS, Twitch, Challengermode ...) 

  • Lead stakeholder alignment across esports operations, broadcast, marketing, and senior leadership.  

  • Track and communicate product performance, shipping regular updates to Esports and R6 leadership.  

  Data integrity 

  • Optimize data pipeline and data structure to in and out-of-game needs  

  • Coordinate data related operations during competitions across all stakeholders (League Ops, GRID, R6 prod, tech owners ...)  

  • Manage data structure changes before implementation  

  • Manage fallbacks when automated data flows fail  

  Operations and event support 

  • Ensure tech products operations and manage risk during T1 esports events  

  • Define technical readiness plans across all out-of-game products and features/tools, for each global event (Predictions, GRID, Rehost feature, new Observation tools, Live Display ...)  

  • Supervise the live support process for esports data tooling, including incident triage, escalation flows, and SLA definition ahead of and during events  

  • Steer operations of the roadmap based on teams’ (EVE Cell & OS) resources, esports calendar (Majors, SI, leagues), and new  opportunities / requirements (China ...).  

  • Identify risks and escalate to production owners or tech owners for potential workarounds  

Qualifications

What we're looking for 

  • Proven PM experience : you've owned a product end-to-end, written specs, run prioritization, and shipped in a cross-functional environment.  

  • Strong stakeholder management : you're comfortable presenting to senior leadership and aligning people with competing priorities.  

  • Data literacy: you understand what a data pipeline does and what good data quality looks like.  

  • Esports or live events background: ideally you've worked in or closely with competitive gaming, broadcast, or live production environments.  

  • Structured thinker: you can write a clean PRD, facilitate a discovery session, and distill complexity into clear decisions.  

  • Fluent in English, French is a strong plus.  

  • Travel-friendly : the role involves international coordination and occasional travel for majors and key events.  

  Nice to have 

  • Familiarity with Rainbow Six Siege or Ubisoft's competitive ecosystem 

  • Experience working with data or broadcast partners (GRID, AWS, Twitch or equivalent) 

  • Comfort with Jira, Confluence, and data dashboards without being a technical user
