Hi, I’m Ricky, Product Design Manager for the Booking Group. I joined Jane about 18 months ago, and since then I’ve had the chance to work with a team that touches nearly everything that happens before and around an appointment. We help patients find care, book care, and stay connected to that care, while also giving clinics tools that help them grow. It’s work that sits right at the heart of Jane’s mission to help the helpers.

I care deeply about creating psychological safety as an unlock for high performance, and I try to bring that mindset into every conversation and project. I believe that without trust and safety, high performance isn't possible; it's one of the core reasons I joined Jane in the first place. When we trust and support each other, the sky is the limit on what we can do.

Outside of design, you'll find me hanging out with my tiny poodle Poppy, playing video games (I built my own PC for this), or diving into one of my 30+ board games with the family. I'm also a bit of a foodie who loves exploring new restaurants in Vancouver.

We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our Clinic Marketing team. You'll make Jane Websites a core part of how clinics grow – deeply integrated into the booking experience. You'll also shape how the team approaches user research, explore both SEO and AI optimization, and refine the value we deliver through our Clinic Marketing APIs and partnerships. This is a meaningful opportunity to influence the future of booking and marketing at Jane and how we design for an increasingly AI-enabled world.

The Impact We're Looking for You to Make
  • Create a clear and forward-thinking design vision for how Jane Websites builds on our core Booking experiences and evolves to be AI ready, with a focus on meaningful customer outcomes.

  • Advocate for our helpers through thoughtful user research, strong judgment, and design decisions that support clinic growth.

  • Collaborate closely across product, engineering, and marketing to navigate tradeoffs with clarity, transparency, and a commitment to delivering real value.

  • Step confidently into leadership moments by aligning stakeholders, communicating the why behind your work, and using storytelling to bring teams along.

  • Elevate the visual quality of our experiences through strong design craftsmanship that helps clinics show up beautifully online.

The Experience We Feel We Need
  • 5+ years of product design experience in a SaaS or similar environment.

  • Strong visual design skills with a portfolio that demonstrates clarity, craft, and intention.

  • Experience leading user research and turning insights into decisions that improve product outcomes.

  • Fluency with modern design tools and comfort working in iterative, collaborative workflows.

  • Understanding of how AI systems work and how to design trustworthy, human-centered AI supported experiences.

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels through clear storytelling.

If you don’t meet every single qualification but are excited about this role, we’d still love to hear from you.

More About Jane

Jane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company born in North Vancouver, British Columbia. We’re now a team of more than 700 people working remotely across Canada, the US, and the UK, united by our mission to help the helpers.

We build the products and tools that thousands of clinics rely on every day to run their businesses, care for their patients, and grow their communities. That level of impact means every person at Jane plays an important role in how we show up for our customers. We’re all responsible for being deeply connected to their needs, obsessed with improving their experience, and proud of the difference our work makes in their day-to-day lives.

Jane is growing fast, and that growth brings exciting challenges that call for adaptability, resilience, learning agility, and humility. We’re proud of what we’ve built and quick to admit what we don’t know yet. We listen, learn, and adjust as we go.

We’re also embracing the possibilities of AI, using it to work smarter, improve our systems, and create even better experiences for our customers and our team.

Our goal isn’t just delivery, it’s delight. We move quickly, communicate openly, and solve real problems together. If you’re energized by ambiguity, motivated by impact, and eager to learn with others, you’ll thrive at Jane.

Compensation & Benefits

At Jane, we’re committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. This role has an annual salary range of $115,200 to $180,000. While that is a large range, it is intentional. It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.
Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $136,800. A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills. Salaries above this usually apply to existing team members who have made a significant impact and bring deep Jane-specific knowledge.
We believe in paying for growth. You’ll have regular career development conversations with your manager, and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission.
Paying clearly is one of our compensation fundamentals. Watch this short video to learn how our salary bands are set. You’re also encouraged to ask questions about compensation at any point during the interview process.
We also offer a comprehensive benefits package. You can learn more about it here!
