The Senior Policy Processing Officer will oversee the Processing unit's efficiency, assist in process improvements, manage task allocation, and support team leadership in project implementations within the insurance sector.
Duties will include :
- Close monitoring of the IBU Processing unit in respect of the deliverable time frame as per agreed targets
- Assist in the review, standardisation and automisation of processes for all businesses as per Swan’s standards
- Allocation of tasks for Processing unit
- Assist to set up and monitor metrics for the unit
- Assist Team Leader in the implementation and operational of new insurance portfolios and projects regarding systems and logistics
- Help to implement corrective and cost effective measures to ease processing in all class of insurances
- Monitoring of archiving, filing and electronic documents in an efficient way
- Coaching of new staffs and empowerment of existing staffs
- Assist Team Leader in the day to day management of processing unit in a good work environment
- Any other cognate duties which may arise aligned to business requirements
Qualifications and Experience :
The ideal candidate should possess the following profile :
- Holder of a HSC
- Should, ideally, have at least 3 years experience in the Insurance industry with excellent organisation and planning skills
- Should ideally be studying for CII
- Be fully computer literate
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Be proactive, dynamic and result-oriented with a good eye for details
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Be a team player
