À PROPOS DU RÔLE :

En tant qu'Ingénieur en Plateforme pour l'équipe d'Ingénierie de Plateforme, vous serez responsable de la migration des produits de l'Unité Commerciale Points vers le cloud (AWS), en vous assurant que la plateforme non seulement respecte, mais dépasse les normes de sécurité et de conformité attendues dans l'industrie, en stimulant l'innovation par l'exploration et la mise en œuvre de solutions technologiques de pointe.

CE QUE VOUS FEREZ :

Sous la supervision du Chef d'Équipe, Ingénierie de Plateforme, vous :

- Travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le Chef d'Équipe et dirigerez les grandes épopées au sein de l'équipe.

- Encadrerez et coacherez les autres ingénieurs de la plateforme au sein de l'équipe.

- Proposerez des innovations et des solutions au sein de l'équipe, aux parties prenantes externes et guiderez ces solutions jusqu'en production.

- Ferez partie de l'équipe qui conçoit, construit et migre notre infrastructure de nouvelle génération basée sur Kubernetes (sur site) vers le Cloud.

- Migrerez des microservices et des services de données vers cette nouvelle infrastructure dans le Cloud.

- Construirez l'infrastructure CI/CD et les outils, fournirez un support de pipeline (nous utilisons GitLab) aux équipes internes, garantirez la sécurité et la conformité des logiciels à tous les niveaux et améliorerez l'observabilité du système grâce à la surveillance et à l'alerte.

- Gèrerez et développerez des outils en Python, GoLang, etc.

- Évaluerez constamment et chercherez des moyens d'améliorer notre infrastructure actuelle.

- Soutiendrez et travaillerez en collaboration avec les équipes d'ingénierie et des opérations.

- Défendrez l'ingénierie de la plateforme au sein de l'organisation - cela inclut les personnes, les processus et la technologie.

VOUS ÊTES UNE PERSONNE AVEC :

- Une solide expérience avec l'automatisation IaC - (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.), dans le Cloud (AWS, Azure ou GCP).

- Une expérience en gestion de configuration - Ansible, Puppet, etc.

- Une forte maîtrise de Docker et Kubernetes.

- Une expérience dans le diagnostic et le dépannage des problèmes au sein du système d'exploitation Linux.

- À l'aise avec la programmation en Python ou Golang.

- Connaissances en réseaux : pare-feu, NAT, sous-réseaux, ports, VPC, VPN.

- Une mentalité de sécurité avant tout : mise en œuvre des meilleures pratiques de l'industrie pour le durcissement des systèmes, la gestion de configuration et les solutions d'automatisation pour les environnements de développement, de test et de déploiement en production.

- À l'aise avec Git ou d'autres systèmes de gestion de code source.

- Familiarisé avec le CI/CD (GitLab est un plus).

- Une bonne compréhension des pratiques d'ingénierie de plateforme et de DevSecOps.

- De solides compétences en communication et en résolution de problèmes.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Platform Engineer for the Platform Engineering team you will be responsible for migrating Points Business Unit products to the cloud (AWS) ensuring the platform not only meets but exceeds the security and compliance standards expected in the industry, driving innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge technological solutions

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Team Lead, Platform Engineering you will :

- Work closely with the Team Lead and lead key epics within the team

- Mentor, coach other platform engineers in the team

- Propose innovations, solutions within the team, to external stakeholders and lead these solutions to production  

- Be part of the team that designs, builds & migrates our next-generation infrastructure based on Kubernetes (on-prem) to the Cloud

- Migrate microservices and data services to this new infrastructure in the Cloud

- Build CI/CD infrastructure & tooling, provide pipeline (we use GitLab) support to internal teams, ensure security & software compliance at all levels and improve observability of the system through monitoring and alerting

- Manage & build tooling in Python, GoLang etc 

- Constantly evaluate & look for ways to improve our current infrastructure

- Support and work alongside Engineering and the Operations teams

- Advocate for Platform Engineering within the organization - this includes people, process and technology

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

- Strong experienced with IaC automation - (Pulumi, Terraform etc),  in the Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) 

- Experience with configuration management - Ansible, Puppet etc.

- Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues within the Linux operating system

- Comfortable coding in one of: Python or Golang

- Networking concepts: firewalls, NAT, subnetting, ports, VPC, VPNs

- Security-first mindset: implement industry best practices for system hardening, configuration management, and automation solutions for development, testing and deployment to production environments 

- Comfortable with Git or other source code management systems

- Familiar with the CI/CD (Gitlab nice to have)

- Good understanding of Platform engineering and DevSecOps practices  

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
