Our client is a growth stage technology and data-driven commercial insurance wholesaler backed by a leading private equity firm. They are combining the worlds of insurance and technology to create an insurtech powerhouse, and are undergoing rapid digital transformation. T

They are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist, Paid Search to join their growing marketing team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys being directly in the platforms, making optimization decisions, testing new approaches, and using data to improve acquisition performance.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Locations: Remote - MUST be physically located in the US
Compensation: $80,000-90,000 base + 10% bonus + full benefits (see below)

What You’ll Do
  • ​Own the day-to-day management and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and other search platforms.
  • Build and launch campaigns, including keyword research, account structure, ad groups, targeting, creative, landing-page alignment, and conversion tracking.
  • Manage budgets, bidding strategies, pacing, search terms, negative keywords, and campaign performance.
  • Monitor key performance metrics including CPA, conversion rate, lead volume, impression share, click share, CPC, ROAS, and downstream lead quality.
  • Optimize campaigns toward both online and offline conversions, including form submissions, calls, qualified leads, and policy or sales outcomes.
  • Partner with analytics, sales, operations, and other marketing team members to understand lead quality and improve acquisition efficiency.
  • Use CRM and conversion data to improve campaign optimization and attribution.
  • Identify new opportunities through audience, keyword, competitive, landing-page, and funnel analysis.
  • Develop and execute structured A/B tests across ads, landing pages, targeting, and bidding strategies.
  • Build clear performance reporting and translate campaign data into actionable recommendations.
  • Support new paid media channels and experiments as the marketing organization continues to evolve.


Requirements
What You Bring
  • 4+ years of hands-on paid search or performance marketing experience.
  • Strong recent experience directly managing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ownership of campaign builds, keyword strategy, search-term optimization, bidding, budgets, pacing, and performance analysis.
  • Experience managing meaningful lead-generation budgets and making independent optimization decisions.
  • Strong understanding of CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, impression share, click share, lead quality, and acquisition funnel performance.
  • Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and attribution.
  • Experience optimizing toward offline or downstream conversions using CRM or sales data.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort identifying performance opportunities from campaign data.
  • Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain what was changed, why, and what impact it had.
