As a Senior Instructional Designer, you'll collaborate in a dynamic SaaS environment with a multidisciplinary team of individuals who are as passionate as you are! Your role is pivotal in developing pedagogically sound content that empowers our Commercial teams (Account Executives, Account Managers, Business Development Reps, etc.) and partners to fully leverage Coveo solutions. 

With a rigorous and innovative mindset, you'll simplify complex concepts and adapt seamlessly to evolving priorities. As part of our Enablement team, you'll contribute to scalable, learner-centric content that drives success for our teams and supports company growth.

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will: 

  • Collaborate closely with SMEs to develop enablement learning material designed for our internal revenue generating teams with a focus on sales methodology and selling skills.
  • Work closely with other enablement team members and Commercial teams to understand the audiences, their priorities - including what formats and strategies will work best to bring them valuable information quickly and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses, recommend learning strategies and blended learning approaches, as well as appropriate activities to achieve learning objectives.
  • Create new enablement material in a variety of delivery formats for new and existing courses and programs.
  • Analyze learning material consumption and feedback data to help prioritize ongoing enhancements.
  • Create courses for both our facilitators (vILT) and our LMS.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or any higher diploma) in marketing, business-related field, instructional design, educational technology or any other related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on sales material, including instructor-led and facilitator-led training OR at least 5 years of experience crafting and presenting product-based narratives for business audiences. 
  • Experience designing content for SaaS companies - even better if you have experience in search, customer service or commerce platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation-building skills, the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and intuitively, and a passion for sharing ideas collaboratively.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience launching Sales Methodology programs, and leading large Sales enablement rollouts and structures. 
  • A deep understanding of professional learning principles and the ability to use Bloom’s taxonomy to create learning objectives and assessments.
  • Proficient with typical learning technologies and tools for audio/video recording and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition, Camtasia), visual editing (Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), animation (Adobe After Effects), course creation (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise and Storyline, PowerPoint), and content management using an LMS.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Asana.
