Job Description

The Senior Associate will play a key role in the delivery of fund administration services to private market clients with a focus on private equity structures. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books and records, preparing financial and investor reporting, and supporting all accounting and operational aspects of clients serviced through the Investran platform. The Senior Associate will act as a key point of contact for clients, auditors, and internal teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to deadlines.

· Prepare and maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules for assigned private equity funds utilizing Investran.

· Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, ASPE).

· Process capital activity calculations and notices, including capital calls and distributions.

· Perform NAV calculations, prepare investor-level reporting, and conduct management and carried interest computations.

· Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment transactions.

· Support the annual audit and tax processes by liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and clients as required.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancements of systems and workflows within Investran and related tools.

· Mentor junior team members and review their work to ensure accuracy and consistency.

· Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely reporting and prompt resolution of queries.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

· University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress

Professional Experience

· At least 2 years' experience working in the fund administration industry or audit

· Experience working with private equity structures

· Experience with Investran or other accounting software

Skills and Knowledge

· Strong understanding of investment fund structures and private markets accounting principles.

· Proficiency in Excel

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and validate financial data for accuracy and completeness.

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with commitment to meeting deadlines.

· Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)

· Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage client relationships.
