Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst specializing in consolidation to join our finance team. In this role, you will consolidate financial statements across the organization while ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with ASPE standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our consolidation processes, transitioning from Excel to an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution. This is a 12-month contract position with potential for permanent placement.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Review and consolidate financial data across all group entities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including notes and supplementary disclosures
  • Produce compliance certificates and reports required by internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure consolidated results comply with financial covenants and thresholds
  • Conduct annual forecasting, CAPEX tracking and variance analysis
  • Manage accounting for newly acquired or created entities and document complex transactions
  • Support external audits and coordinate the verification process
  • Participate in the update of accounting policies and Phase 2 of the EPM consolidation system
  • Maintain and optimize reports within consolidation and reporting tools
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to automate and streamline operations
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Tax and other group functions

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA designation required
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting with a focus on consolidation and multi-entity accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations and business combination accounting
  • Experience with consolidation tools (CCH Tagetik, Hyperion) and ERP systems (Microsoft D365) an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
