In this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for supporting the planning, forecasting, tracking, and analysis of Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) expenses for the Immunology commercial team. This role partners closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budget management, insightful variance analysis, effective financial decision-making and completing tasks relating to audits & SOX as required by Corporate Finance. You will serve as the key financial liaison responsible for supporting in the preparation and analysis of the monthly LBE (Last Best Estimate), Plan, Update and LRP (Long Range Plan) from an SG&A perspective. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.

This role reports to the Finance Lead, Immunology, works very closely with the commercial team and is a key player in ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for leading and enhancing the monthly SG&A process.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor SG&A budgets, forecasts, and monthly accruals.
  • Partner with business functions to understand cost drivers, spending trends, and operational assumptions.
  • Perform variance analysis of actuals vs. budget and provide actionable commentary.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and open PO reporting.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in SG&A and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy and adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Assist, in the preparation of the Plan, Update & LBE cycles from an SG&A perspective.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and business stakeholders to improve processes and reporting.
  • Maintenance and uploading of expenses and other financial related data into the financial planning systems.
  • Review and approve invoices ensuring compliance and alignment to company policies.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
  • Continuous process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Four to five years of related work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of BPC, APT, SAP and Power BI considered an asset.
