Build and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that address business needs. Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals, consistently achieving measurable results while maintaining exceptional service standards.

As an Enterprise Sales Executive Senior New and Existing Accounts, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the sales strategy for Akamai's premium security portfolio internally and externally across major enterprise accounts in Canada.
  • Positioning Akamai's core security pillars against next-generation risks.
  • Leveraging internal security engineers, threat researchers, and executive resources within a matrixed organization to secure complex deals effectively.
  • Delivering impactful risk-reduction strategies by leveraging Zero Trust expertise and engaging C-level executives to drive innovative security solutions.
  • Developing and sustaining a qualified, predictable pipeline of new and expansion business across the assigned Canadian enterprise territory.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bring 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience in Canadian cybersecurity, with equivalent professional experience to a Bachelor's.
  • Possess expertise in the Toronto/GTA corporate landscape and Western Canadian enterprise market across Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Public Sector, Retail.
  • Build networks, secure access, foster trust, and engage enterprise security leadership on critical concerns regarding emerging AI risks.
  • Demonstrate sales expertise in advanced security architectures, specializing in Micro-Segmentation, Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateways, and Secure Enterprise Browsers.
  • Have exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical security capabilities into clear, risk-mitigating business outcomes.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from CA$224,300 - CA$403,700/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
