About this opportunity:
The Senior Developer Board Power Design engineer is responsible for the board-level power design of baseband and related boards. The role covers the full lifecycle from requirements analysis, solution definition, detailed design and verification, to ramp-up for volume production and maintenance, ensuring reliable, cost-efficient and of high-quality power solutions.
What you will do:
  • Define board-level power architecture and solutions.
  • Lead technical problem-solving and performance optimization.
  • Design board-level power solutions including lightning protection, reverse-polarity protection, hot-swap circuitry, EMC filtering, DC/DC power stages and control loops.
  • Perform circuit simulation, loss calculation and power integrity (PI) analysis.
  • Complete schematic design and provide guidance to PCB engineers.
  • Plan and execute performance tests and also robustness/reliability verification.
  • Prepare technical documentation for design, verification and production.
  • Continuously track new power technologies, components and processes, and lead pre-study/innovation activities in the power domain.

The skills you bring:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of power design experience, with the ability to independently complete complex board-level power solution design, simulation, debugging and issue resolution.
  • Solid theoretical foundation in power topologies, with strong control modelling and analysis capability; mastery of at least one topology.
  • Good understanding of power integrity (PI) and EMC principles.
  • Strong knowledge of characteristics and parameters of common electronic components, with the ability to perform appropriate component selection.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • High level of initiative, rigorous working style and strong sense of responsibility; willing to share knowledge and mentor others, supporting team growth.
  • CET-6 level or equivalent, with good written communication skills in English.
  • Good knowledge of power requirements for CPU, FPGA, DDR and other digital devices, and board-level DC/DC design experience is a strong advantage.
