A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and administration of comprehensive compensation strategies, policies, and frameworks to align with business objectives.
- Conduct advanced job evaluations and salary benchmarking to establish competitive pay structures.
- Analyze compensation trends, perform market analysis, and provide strategic recommendations for salary adjustments and incentive programs.
- Design and oversee the implementation of incentive and variable pay programs tailored to organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with pay equity regulations, labor laws, and internal policies, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
- Act as a key advisor to HR leadership and business units on compensation-related matters, including salary negotiations and policy interpretations.
- Partner with HR and finance teams on annual compensation reviews, budgeting, and workforce planning.
- Utilize HRIS and compensation tools to enhance reporting capabilities and improve decision-making processes.
- Stay ahead of industry best practices, trends, and legislative updates impacting compensation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree is an asset.
- 10+ years of experience in compensation analysis, HR, or a related field, with a focus on strategic compensation planning. Experience in international compensation is considered an asset.
- Expertise in job evaluation methodologies, market pricing tools, and incentive program design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and compensation modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation regulations, pay equity compliance, and labor laws.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with HRIS and compensation software.
- Project and change management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making at senior levels.
