The Senior Business Analyst will gather requirements, enhance workflows, analyze data, and support Agile teams in delivering IT solutions across various domains.
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a high-performing Agile software release team focused on developing web and API solutions that support the introduction of new technologies and services. The team operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment, working with cross-functional experts across IT, network, operations, and product domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for complex IT solutions.
- Lead initiatives to improve business workflows and system performance within provisioning, dispatch, and network domains.
- Analyze data to detect service delivery anomalies and identify root causes or opportunities for optimization.
- Support the planning and execution of integrated solutions through the full SDLC, from requirements to post-implementation review.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners in Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
- Lead and support projects focused on performance management, service quality, and reporting frameworks.
- Translate business objectives into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly related to business process optimization and IT service delivery.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and product management.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to support performance and quality measurement.
- Familiarity with backend and frontend development environments is an asset:
- Backend tech stack (for context): Java, Angular, Redis, TMP OpenApi, Oracle, MongoDB, Cloud, Docker, Kafka, Spring Boot, CI/CD pipelines.
- Frontend tech stack (for context): ReactJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, WebServices, Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in telecom, IT infrastructure, or systems related to provisioning, dispatch, and network operations.
- Knowledge of API design, systems integration, or data science concepts is a plus.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year with the possibility to extend
- Work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
