What we are looking for:


The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting, reports to the Vice President, Finance, Fiera Private Markets. The role involves a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, report preparation, and assisting with close processes. The position also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities


Your Responsibilities:


• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for corporate entities.

• Preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

• Preparing financial statements segmented by lines of business for management and tax purposes.

• Producing financial analyses as requested by executives.

• Managing relationships with external advisors such as auditors and tax consultants.

• Overseeing cash management, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Ensuring effective internal controls


Must have requirements to be successful in this role:


• A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.

• CPA designation is considered an asset.

• Minimum of four years of experience in consolidation and financial reporting.

• Experience with financial and consolidation systems is essential, with specific knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Workiva considered advantageous.

• Strong professional judgment, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.

• Motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented approach.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and French

• Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week.
