As a senior advisor, IT supplier management, you help optimize the organization's IT equipment costs and performance by managing IT supplier relationships and promoting sound risk management in the IT Division. You lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. You make recommendations on the development and execution of projects and initiatives with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. You use your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed knowledge of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:

Help management set targets and find ways to improve the roles and responsibilities of IT asset and supplier management resources

Lead and influence other supplier governance and asset management partners

Lead, coordinate or implement complex and strategic initiatives under your responsibility

Represent the department to other corporate departments and divisions

Establish and maintain constructive relationships with all stakeholders, taking into account their needs, objectives, deadlines and issues

Serve as a subject matter expert for your unit, for supplier and IT asset management sectors and for other departments involved in specific topics

Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of management activities and work with the team to improve processes and activities
-
Present results to the officers and managers responsible for audited activities.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
A minimum of six years of relevant experience, including at least three in an advisory role

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience in IT supplier and asset management, and supplier governance

Experience in enhancing and improving IT processes

Experience in change management or corporate communications
-
Experience in complex environments requiring strong interpersonal skills

Knowledge of French is required

Proficiency in Microsoft office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Knowledge of ITSM tools
