Job Responsibilities:
About the Role
A Security Guard position with the Corporate Campus Security team, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, while upholding the corporate standards and identity.
Your Responsibilities

• Provide security protection at Magna Headquarters (days, nights, weekends).
• Manage access control and verify visitor authorization.
• Monitor video surveillance, fire, and alarm panels.
• Respond to suspicious activity and conduct regular foot patrols.
• Ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure; notify 911 in emergencies.
• Identify irregularities and notify Facilities management, complete incident reports.

Who we are looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Guard.
• Ontario secondary school diploma or equivalent; College Diploma in Police Foundations is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and Emergency Level First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Good command of English (written and spoken) and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
