Job Responsibilities:
As the Data Implementation Lead for Magna's North America Payroll Implementation, your primary responsibility will be to ensuring validation, compliance, and accuracy of the data related to the implementation of a new payroll system. You will work closely with Magna's Groups and Divisions to gather and validate data, advise on data cleansing and transformation, and provide insights and recommendations based on your analysis.
Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the IT Data Lead to understand all data requirements for the payroll system implementation, including timelines, KPI building, milestone tracking
  • Collaborate with the automation and integration teams to build transformation and validation logic
  • Guide Groups and Divisions through understanding and documenting transformation logic, Data quality, validation processes
  • Analyze data from various 3rd party Vendors, ensuring data completeness and quality
  • Lead data validation and reconciliation workshops with Divisions to ensure data accuracy and consistency between different systems
  • Guide Divisions through manual data cleansing if required
  • Participate in the integration and migration of data to the new payroll system by review and correct load errors with the SI Data Lead

Who we are looking for
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience as a payroll or HR analyst or similar role
  • Strong data manipulation and data cleansing skills (Excel)
  • Knowledge of database management systems, data warehousing, and data integration concepts
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present insights in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
