The Role

The Salesforce Solution Consultant will provide support to the organization through the development of solution designs that both fulfill the stakeholder needs and enable the Development team to rapidly build 
out functionality. The position will be able to successfully communicate with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, power users, technical architects, system administrators and developers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Independently manage multiple solution efforts in conjunction with Project Management to ensure all parties are informed of progress and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, desired improvements and translate them into effective technical
  • Conduct technical analysis to provide right design solutions leveraging OOB capabilities as appropriate.
  • Design and optimize data models to support business requirements.
  • Facilitate design reviews with the stakeholders, refining requirements and ensuring alignment between desired outcomes and technical implementation.
  • Properly segment user stories into work items that conform to an agile development model and can be actioned by developers and/or admins within a scrum/sprint model.
  • Facilitate development by answering questions, providing demos, and supporting QA team members in understanding the overall solution approach to ensure business acceptance.
  • Help maintain overall documentation of solution designs, adhering to set team standards.
  • Technically capable to develop SF configurations like flows, security config, etc. for proof-of-concept work.
  • Stay current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
  • Additional duties assigned by the manager, consistent with the scope and seniority of the role.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 5+ years of combined experience as a Salesforce Consultant and/or Administrator, with demonstrated hands-on configuration skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any technology focused field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and/or Revenue Cloud
  • Strong understanding of data architecture.
  • Familiarity with middleware such as Boomi and Workato and how data is synchronized between systems.
  • Experience communicating with IT stakeholders, writing user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed system/functional design.
  • Strong leadership skills with good decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present and explain solutions to non-technical and technical audiences.

Nice To Have

  • Salesforce certifications such as Admin, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ Administrator, etc.
  • Demonstrable expert level knowledge of Salesforce and its underlying platform architecture and technical workings.
  • Experience in object-oriented software engineering.
  • Experience working with integrated systems such as financial systems.
  • Experience with systems such as Atlassian (Confluence/JIRA), LucidChart and/or other diagramming tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment management using tools such as Gearset, Copado, or similar platforms.
  • Comfort incorporating AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to improve productivity across tasks such as drafting user stories, generating design documentation, and researching solutions.
