About you
We're looking for an entrepreneurial sales professional to help build and scale a new growth channel for our business. This is a true builder role - you'll create opportunities from the ground up by prospecting, generating pipeline, closing new business, and managing customer relationships.
Working closely with marketing, revenue operations, and sales, you'll help replicate the success we've achieved in other verticals within a new market segment. Unlike a traditional sales role, you'll own the entire customer journey—from cold outreach and closing deals to onboarding, implementation, and long-term account growth.
The ideal candidate is motivated by the opportunity to build something new. You're resourceful, proactive, and comfortable operating without a predefined playbook. You thrive on creating momentum, solving problems, and taking ownership of results while building strong relationships with customers along the way.
We hire humans, not job descriptions. You should apply even if this role and salary range don't align with your experience. We’re happy to create unique roles and compensation for the right talent.
What You'll Do
- Introduce our free visualizer to independent furniture dealers through heavy outbound phone outreach, turning cold calls into active network members.
- Manage the entire relationship lifecycle, handling everything from the first call through onboarding and long-term engagement.
- Figure out creative, scalable ways to get these companies on board faster, rather than just relying on one-by-one outreach.
- Spend time with our existing team to learn the plays that worked for them, and adapt those motions for the furniture space.
- Work closely with marketing to refine our messaging and build better enablement materials based on real market feedback.
- Act as the ultimate feedback loop for our product and sales teams, translating your daily conversations into clear insights on the true "voice of the furniture dealer."
About you
- You are a self-starter who doesn't need a pre-written playbook to get to work. You enjoy ambiguity and solving new problems.
- You have real grit and are completely at home with cold outreach. You see cold calling as a great way to learn the market quickly.
- You have a high level of practical common sense and can build relationships quickly. You can talk to small business owners easily, understand their world, and talk to them like a peer.
- You are highly communicative and can synthesize what you hear on the ground into actionable advice for our internal teams.
- You possess a deep sense of professional curiosity. You actually want to understand how a furniture store operates, what keeps the owner up at night, and why they do things the way they do
Requirements
- Solid background in outbound sales, account management, or market expansion, with a proven comfort level in high-volume cold calling.
- A "founder" mentality—you like the idea of working in an early-stage environment where you help build the process as you go.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Adaptability and a natural curiosity to learn a new industry. Experience in furniture retail or manufacturing is a great bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
About our culture
- We're a remote-first company that encourages our employees to work from where they're most productive.
- We work in tight-knit teams to cultivate an ownership mentality.
- We cherish curiosity and an obsession for details because we know these details are invaluable over the long run.
- We're hyper-focused on our achievements and our ability to execute our promises. We act with urgency.
- Work anywhere in the world for up to 3 months!
- We value families, by offering a parental leave program
- We offer a work-from-home stipend
- Your birthday (and our company's birthday) is a day off!
