About the role

As we are on a mission to grow faster and smarter by challenging the big players in our industry, we are at a pivotal moment. WHC’s Sales team needs a leader who can do more than manage pipelines — we need a builder, a mentor, and a strategist who can take a good team and make it great. This is your chance to leave a real mark on a Canadian tech company, shaping how we grow and how our clients experience us. 

 

As Sales Manager, you’ll lead Account Executives and Sales Development Reps, giving them the structure, coaching, and drive to consistently deliver results. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with our Marketing team to align campaigns, messaging, and lead generation with sales execution. Together, you’ll fuel WHC’s growth engine - from attracting prospects to converting them into loyal, long-term clients. 

What you'll do
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team — coaching them into high-performing, client-focused pros. 
  • Help define and drive WHC’s sales, growth, and retention strategies. 
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns, lead generation, and client communications. 
  • Support and participate in key client conversations, deal closures, and escalations. 
  • Set clear targets, segments, and sales plans. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, both team-wide (quarterly) and individual (monthly). 
  • Spot talent gaps and create training/coaching opportunities that unlock potential. 
  • Analyze sales performance, generate actionable insights, and continuously improve how we sell. 
  • Keep a sharp eye on the competition and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve. 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven sales leadership, ideally in tech, SaaS, or hosting. 
  • A track record of building highly-efficient teams, and exceeding sales targets — both personally and through your team. 
  • Strong leadership presence: you’re as comfortable motivating a team as you are making tough calls. 
  • Experience coaching, restructuring, or building sales teams from the ground up. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing to align strategy and execution. 
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills. 
  • Clear and confident communicator in both French and English. 
  • CRM-savvy (WHMCS, Hubspot, Zoho knowledge is a plus). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
