Synopsis of the role

As a Sales Insights Business Analyst, you will use a mix of analytical and technical skills to help Equifax Canada grow - our market share & footprint in Canada , deliver actionable insights to internal teams and arm them with data which helps generate leads, improve our share-of-wallet, create pipeline, and ultimately increase revenue. Your role will involve supporting the business throughout the entire customer life-cycle from go to market, to lead generation, to pipeline creation & closure, to client relationship management. You will also be involved in key operational areas like generating business insights, providing analytical support, and creating reports & dashboards that empower leaders and their teams with the necessary information to make informed decisions.

What you’ll do

  • Business Data Analysis and Insights: You will lead discovery sessions and perform data analytics across complex business verticals. The goal is to identify trends and opportunities that will drive revenue growth and improve business decisions for senior and Canadian leadership.
     

  • Business Consultation: You will consult with senior sales leaders to understand their business data needs and provide them with data-driven insights. You will conduct complex analysis using multiple tools and databases to deliver valuable trends.
     

  • Business Insights and Reporting: You will be responsible for analyzing territory, vertical, and industry trends, as well as pipeline and financial data. You will then translate this data into actional insights using various mechanisms such as reports, dashboards, data visualization and socialize them in ways that resonate with business and sales leaders.
     

  • Reporting and Metrics: You will enhance and deliver standardized reports to track key performance indicators and maintain data accuracy. You'll also develop new metrics to provide insight into business objectives.
     

What experience you need 

  • 5-7 years of analytical experience working with complex organizational structures.

  • Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, and with Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau or Google Looker.

  • Ability to manage and confidently prioritize multiple projects and heavy workloads simultaneously.

  • Skilled in leading consultations and conversations with stakeholders, including Leaders from Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of driving initiatives forward with consistent momentum and efficiency.

  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Google Cloud Solutions, including BigQuery, Gemini AI

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce platforms - Sales Cloud, Pardot, Engage, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc

You know how to make the insight, action, and takeaway of the data clear & precise, you don't leave people walking away asking themselves what they are supposed to do next.
