Position Overview

This is a 12 month contract position with TrendAI™.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) drives top-of-funnel pipeline creation across enterprise and mid-market accounts in the ANZ region.

You will collaborate closely with Account Managers, Sales Engineers (SEs), and Marketing teams to align messaging, qualify prospects, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound touches daily via email, phone, and LinkedIn.

  • Book qualified first meetings with Account Managers or Sales Engineers.

  • Create opportunities through personalized, research-driven outreach and digital selling.

  • Maintain focus on high-quality engagements that progress prospects through the funnel.

  • Run structured discovery to identify customer challenges, key initiatives, and success criteria.

  • Go beyond appointment-setting by delivering introductory demos or presentations that showcase TrendAI's value.

  • Collaborate with Account Manager and SEs to define next steps and ensure high-quality CRM documentation.

  • Craft personalized, insight-driven emails and LinkedIn messages tailored to industries and personas.

  • Use data, market research, and customer stories to communicate value effectively.

  • Share market and competitive insights with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of SDR, BDR, or Inside Sales experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.

  • A Master Digital Seller with the ability to research digitally, identify market trends, and analyze influencing factors affecting prospects.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Proven success in building pipeline and converting conversations into qualified opportunities.

  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, and engagement platforms.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts or the willingness to learn them quickly.

  • Self-driven, curious, and organized with strong time management skills.
