The Sales Development Representative will prospect, qualify interest, and book meetings with potential clients, while supporting the account executives in the sales pipeline.

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join Planned’s growing go-to-market team. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for new prospects and play a key role in building our sales pipeline. You’ll become a Planned expert and help introduce our platform and service to the right stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and source target accounts through thoughtful outbound (procurement, travel, events, finance)
- Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn with tailored messaging
- Qualify interest and book high-quality meetings with Account Executives
- Partner closely with AEs on ICPs, accounts, and outreach strategy
- Learn to navigate complex orgs and handle common objections
- Contribute ideas on outbound strategy and tooling as you ramp
- Attend industry events to connect and book meetings with prospects
What We're Looking For
- Highly motivated, scrappy mindset - persistent, and comfortable with outbound conversations
- Coachable and eager to improve through feedback
- Resourceful, proactive, and organized
- Clear, professional communicator (written and verbal)
- Experience in a people-facing role (sales, customer service, hospitality, recruiting)
- Exposure to startups, tech, or SaaS
- Interest in a long-term career in sales or entrepreneurship
