Develops and reports metrics to improve process and ensure optimal use of Supply Chain systems. Analyzes data for use in replenishment and forecasting as well as providing and presenting findings to management.

The Regional Supply Chain Analyst develops reporting and audit tools utilized for warehouse and yards and reviews regional supply chain performance. Develops and reports metrics to improve process and ensure optimal use of Supply Chain systems. Analyzes data for use in replenishment and forecasting as well as providing and presenting findings to management.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, testing and management of inventory control applications and tools and assists with the development and distribution of required reports.
- Maintain and track supply chain metrics and prepare metrics for management presentations.
- Supports monthly reviews of regional inventory including compiling statistical information on usage, loss, transfer, internal and external vendor performance and warehouse transactions to assist in establishing and implementing standards in audits.
- Use data analysis to identify material requirements and design forecasting methodology for key products.
- Develop and maintain standard formats, templates, and operating procedures.
- Assists with training and support to their region on the development and implementation of supply chain processes and practices.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather comprehensive requirements and delivery results expediently
- Superior personal computer skills in all Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Access
- Verbal, written and inter-personal communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under deadlines
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, proactively reach out for information when necessary and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and concepts
- Knowledge of cable systems and operations a plus
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- Computer based inventory control systems - 1-2
- Supply Chain processes - 1-2
- Reporting analysis tools - 1-2
