Vous êtes passionné(e) par l’analyse financière, la modélisation et le partenariat stratégique avec les opérations? Ce rôle est pour vous. En tant que Directeur(trice) régional(e) des finances, vous agirez comme le chef des finances (CFO) de votre région, en soutenant les opérations dans la prise de décisions financières éclairées. Vous serez responsable de la clôture mensuelle, de la préparation des prévisions et budgets, ainsi que de la modélisation financière (CAT) pour les nouvelles opportunités d’affaires.

Responsabilités principales

  • Agir comme partenaire stratégique des opérations pour toutes les questions financières régionales.
  • Préparer et analyser les états financiers mensuels, incluant les écritures de journal et les rapports de performance.
  • Diriger le processus budgétaire annuel et les prévisions mensuelles pour les sites assignés.
  • Construire et maintenir des modèles financiers (CAT) pour les nouvelles soumissions de contrats, incluant les hypothèses de rentabilité.
  • Participer à l’analyse des contrats, à la tarification et à la validation des hypothèses financières.
  • Former et soutenir les gestionnaires locaux sur les outils et processus financiers.
  • Réaliser des audits internes pour assurer la conformité aux normes IFRS et aux politiques internes.
  • Analyser les systèmes de flotte et les immobilisations, incluant les audits physiques périodiques.
  • Réaliser des projets spéciaux et fournir des analyses ad hoc à la direction régionale.

Profil recherché

  • Baccalauréat en finance ou comptabilité (CPA ou MBA un atout).
  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en finance, comptabilité ou FP&A.
  • Expérience en modélisation financière avancée (Excel, macros, formules complexes).
  • Capacité démontrée à collaborer avec des équipes opérationnelles et à influencer les décisions.
  • Bilinguisme français/anglais requis.
  • Expérience dans un environnement multi-sites (atout).

Regional Finance Manager – FP&A / Operations Business Partner

Location: Delson, QC | Travel: Approximately 20%

Position Summary

Are you passionate about financial analysis, modeling, and strategic partnership with operations? This role is for you. As a Regional Finance Manager, you will act as the CFO of your region, supporting operations in making informed financial decisions. You will be responsible for monthly financial closeforecasting and budgeting, and building financial models (CAT) for new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to regional operations leadership.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including journal entries and performance reporting.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for assigned locations.
  • Build and maintain financial models (CAT) for contract bids and new business, ensuring sound financial assumptions.
  • Support contract analysis, pricing, and validation of financial performance metrics.
  • Train and support location managers on financial tools and processes.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Analyze fleet systems and capital requests, including periodic physical audits.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects, providing insights to regional leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel, macros, complex formulas).
  • Proven ability to partner with operations teams and influence decision-making.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment is an asset.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assists with location level audits of accounting transactions and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies. Makes recommendations and ensures that corrective actions are taken.

  • Trains and assists location personnel in the region’s accounting systems and procedures. Conducts training sessions to raise financial competency of location and other management as needed.

  • Reviews and monitors fleet, including cascading, right sizing, and lost business transitions for the Region. Reviews the capital request process.

  • Reviews and analyzes fleet systems (i.e., auditing, accounting, and vehicle maintenance systems to make sure it represents the proper fleet figures), including performance of a periodic physical audit.

  • Assists with the development of contract bids and rate calculations and ensures reasonableness of financial assumptions. Prepares financial models for contract analysis.

  • Assists with the preparation of the month end close and financial reporting statements as needed.

  • Manages journal entries and analyzes location level income statements.

  • Prepares the yearly operating plan and monthly forecast for assigned locations.

  • Performs special projects and analysis, prepares various reports for operations and other management as necessary.

Minimum Education or Certifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA desirable

Minimum Experience or Skills Required

  • 5+ years experience in accounting/finance

  • Experience in financial modeling and accounting theory

  • Experience in building detailed budgets and forecasts for one or more business units.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with all levels of personnel

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Excel. Must be able to write complex formulas. Ability to write and debug Excel macros preferred.

  • Accounting and Finance experience in a multi-site environment preferred.
