Description

At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are currently looking for a high-performing Quality Control Manager. The position is based in Tripoli.               


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of all required physicochemical analyses.
  • Monitor laboratory productivity and related KPIs.
  • Review technical reports, summaries, and protocols.
  • Coach, guide, and supervise three teams of scientists in their daily tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines related to quality control batch release.
  • Direct troubleshooting for technical and analytical issues.
  • Support training courses for team members as assigned.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables.
  • Participate in lab audits and inspections, ensuring laboratory compliance.
  • Investigate incidents, deviations, change controls, and OOS; identify root causes and develop action plans. Undertake investigations during any incidents/deviations/change controls/OOS, identify root causes and develop appropriate action plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy, with postgraduate studies (MSc/PhD) in Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory with 3 years of team leadership experience.
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and UV-VIS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety regulations and quality systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop people.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Project management skills focused on deliverables, quality and timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
