À titre de Spécialiste qualité et amélioration continue, vous contribuerez à l’excellence opérationnelle en développant, implantant et maintenant le système de gestion de la qualité tout en dirigeant des initiatives d’amélioration continue à travers l’organisation. Vous collaborerez avec des équipes multidisciplinaires afin d’améliorer les processus, réduire les pertes, accroître l’efficacité et résoudre les enjeux liés à la qualité à l’aide d’approches structurées de résolution de problèmes. Ce rôle comprend la réalisation d’audits internes, la gestion des actions correctives et préventives, l’analyse des données qualité, l’animation d’enquêtes sur les causes fondamentales et le soutien aux activités liées à la qualité des fournisseurs. Vous contribuerez également à l’élaboration des plans de contrôle de la qualité et des procédures d’inspection, tout en réalisant les activités de gestion de la qualité de projet pour les projets d’exécution assignés. Par ces activités, vous soutiendrez la fiabilité, la cohérence et l’amélioration continue des produits, des processus et des opérations.

  • Développer, mettre en œuvre et maintenir le système de gestion de la qualité conformément aux normes applicables et aux politiques de l’entreprise.
  • Diriger des initiatives d’amélioration continue à l’aide des méthodologies Lean, Six Sigma, 5S et Value Stream Mapping.
  • Réaliser des audits internes et coordonner les plans d’actions correctives et préventives avec les départements concernés.
  • Analyser les données qualité, surveiller les tendances de performance et suivre l’efficacité des actions d’amélioration.

  • Soutenir les activités liées à la qualité des fournisseurs, les plans de contrôle qualité, les procédures d’inspection et les activités de gestion de la qualité de projet pour les projets assignés.
  • Responsable d’assurer la conformité aux réglementations, procédures et lignes directrices applicables, tant internes qu’externes.

Votre profil

  • Le candidat doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy aux États-Unis.
  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique, génie électrique, génie industriel ou dans un domaine technique connexe.
  • Minimum de 5 années d’expérience dans un rôle d’assurance qualité ou d’amélioration continue dans un environnement manufacturier ou industriel.
  • Expérience des systèmes de gestion de la qualité tels qu’ISO 9001 ainsi que de projets d’amélioration continue ayant produit des résultats mesurables.
  • Maîtrise des méthodologies Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping ainsi que des outils d’analyse de données, notamment Minitab et Excel.
  • Certification Lean Six Sigma Green Belt ou Black Belt, un atout.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, avec disponibilité pour voyager au moins 25 % du temps.

The Opportunity

As a Quality and Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will support operational excellence by developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System while leading continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and address quality-related issues through structured problem-solving approaches. The role involves conducting audits, managing corrective and preventive actions, analyzing quality performance data, facilitating root cause investigations, supporting supplier quality activities, and contributing to quality control planning. You will also conduct Project Quality Management activities on assigned execution projects while helping ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle. Through these activities, you will support the reliability, consistency, and ongoing improvement of products, processes, and operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with applicable standards and company policies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping methodologies.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate corrective and preventive action plans with relevant departments.
  • Analyze quality data, monitor performance trends, and track the effectiveness of improvement activities.
  • Facilitate root cause investigations related to quality issues, customer complaints, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Provide training and coaching on quality practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support supplier quality activities, quality control plans, inspection procedures, and Project Quality Management activities on assigned execution projects.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, data analysis tools, Minitab, and Excel.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Fluency in English and French, with willingness to travel a minimum of 25%.
