The Project Management Team

OpenZeppelin is seeking an experienced, customer-facing Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering on time to join the PMO team and take ownership of the entire security audit delivery process. This person will work closely with other constituencies across the organization including the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.

What you'll be doing

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Project Manager Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on project management, task coordination, and data analysis to support our Security Research team and ensure the seamless execution of projects. You will be responsible for optimizing audit schedules, monitoring key performance metrics, and automating workflows using our internal tools. This position requires strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to present data-driven insights to senior management.

  • Analyze project data and metrics, including resource utilization, task completion rates, and efficiency metrics, to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in project planning, task management, and scheduling audits to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Track project timelines, monitor team performance, and ensure that tasks are completed on schedule. Use internal tools to update progress and manage workflows.
  • Collaborate with Security Research team leaders to schedule and coordinate audits, ensuring timelines are realistic and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Manage quality control throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating closely with Security Research team leaders to maintain high standards.
  • Track and analyze team performance against key metrics, including resource utilization and project success rates, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Automate processes and enhance delivery workflows using internal tools such as GitHub, Notion, Slack, and HubSpot.
  • Compile and present performance data, project updates, and recommendations to senior management.
You have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in project management, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in GitHub for task management and workflow automation.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Google Suite, Float) and strong task management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Inquisitive mindset with curiosity to learn
Nice to have
  • Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc).

  • Advanced knowledge of GitHub.

  • PMO or other people management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience working with professional services scheduling software.
