EBC is searching for a full-time Project Engineers to further meet its needs in a growth context.



RESPONSIBILITIES

         Master your project’s technical specifications;

         Supervise site engineers in their daily tasks;

         Obtain permits and authorizations required for work execution;

         Plan and ensure proper labor coordination with foremen, surveyors, superintendents, engineers, project managers and subcontractors;

         Plan, supervise and participate in developing appropriate construction methods and procedures related to contractual requirements, while respecting health and safety requirements;

         Lead site internal engineering meetings;

         Communicate and take part in meetings with clients, engineers and project managers;

         Convey information to designers and supervise plan development required for work completion;

         Assist, review and convey technical questions and change requests to the client’s representative and perform all necessary follow-ups;

         Assist the Superintendent in various administrative and technical tasks;

         Plan and check material orders (metal parts, formwork, reinforcement, etc.);

         Follow-up (content validation) on shop drawings and other contractual documents, when required;

         Keep a daily work report;

         Coordinate with design engineers the temporary works design required for project progress;

         Participate in project schedule updating;

         Perform various on-site monitoring tasks.



Conditions

REQUIREMENTS

         Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering;

         Relevant Civil Engineering project experience;

         Construction technician project experience, an asset;

         Bilingualism, an asset.

         Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access);

         Extensive knowledge of any management software;

         Extensive knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD, an asset.

         Communicates clearly and concisely to workers and engineering teams;
