About AppDirect

Become a digital, global citizen and enable the new generation of digital entrepreneurs around the world.  AppDirect offers a subscription commerce platform to sell any product, through any channel, on any device - as a service.  We power millions of subscriptions worldwide for organizations.  We do this by our values-driven culture—one that enables you to Be Seen, Be Yourself, and Do Your Best Work.

About you

As a Product Marketing Manager at AppDirect, you will craft and execute go-to-market plans for our procurement suite – the subscription commerce platform built to serve two distinct audiences at once: the technology advisors who sell from our platform, and the companies who purchase and manage that technology. Some days you will use your right-brain skills to conceive and develop innovative sales enablement and demand generation programs, or craft compelling stories that position our procurement suite and drive sales. Other days, you will go left-brain with your analytical skills to conduct in-depth market research and win/loss analysis that helps our product teams prioritize roadmap plans and shape launch strategies. You have attention to detail and can translate complex ideas into compelling stories for both audiences – representing what buyers need to purchase and manage technology, and what advisors need to sell and close. You will work on the Procurement Product Marketing team.

What you'll do and how you'll make an impact

  • Own the go-to-market strategy for our procurement suite's product launches, from positioning and success criteria through cross-functional execution.
  • Be the expert on our buyers — how they purchase and what drives their decisions — and equally the expert on our technology advisors, how they sell, and what they need to successfully sell and manage solutions from our procurement suite.
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, product, PR, and executives to build and execute GTM plans, and work directly with sales enablement to identify and drive cross-sell and upsell within our existing customer base.
  • Analyze sales, market, and customer data across audiences, translating findings into sales insights and input for roadmap prioritization, pricing, and improvements that drive adoption and retention.
  • Uniquely message and position our solutions in-market, communicating their value to our sales team through dynamic, engaging sales enablement and content.
  • Plan the launch of new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
  • Develop pricing strategies for our solutions, including models that support bundling, cross-sell, and upsell.
  • Define product marketing outcomes and success metrics tied to pipeline and revenue targets, and track performance against them.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of consulting, channel/partner or product marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS is a strong plus.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, or win/loss research, and translating findings into positioning, pricing, or roadmap recommendations.
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools to shape GTM strategy and accelerate day-to-day work — from synthesizing data and market intelligence to drafting enablement content and positioning.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with masterful storytelling range to speak to both end buyers and technology advisors; work samples will be requested and presentation skills tested via a live presentation.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable turning data into compelling sales enablement insights and roadmap prioritization input, not just describing trends.
  • A resourceful, resilient self-starter who thrives with minimal guidance — you'll take true ownership of your projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A fast learner who can pick up a new market segment in days and a new technology in hours, and who's curious about what comes next.
  • Comfortable working across sales, product, engineering, PR, marketing, and executive leadership to research, plan, and execute your work.
  • B2B software experience, product-led growth (PLG) experience, and experience or strong interest in partnering with sales/sales enablement teams on expansion motions (cross-sell, upsell) are all a plus.
