POSITION OVERVIEW

The Principal, Sales Enablement & Performance Management holds a shared accountability with the AVP, Community Banking Lending Programs working in direct contact with partners to develop and execute a sales enablement strategy that drives Community Banking to reach its ambitious targets. Concretely, this person will work closely with internal support teams and corresponding partner functions to effectively leverage available services and design and deliver integrated programs that drive the success of the Community Banking Lending Partnerships (loan-guarantee programs and non-loan guarantees). The selected candidate will help define the integrated Sales Enablement program at the start of a lending partnership and will be responsible for tracking program performance, setting measurable KPIs, analyzing outcomes, and recommending continuous improvements based on insights. Additionally, the Principal is responsible drive key operational efficiency initiatives that translate into significant cost reductions for the Line of Business.

 

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

Sales Enablement & Continuous Improvement

  • In collaboration with the AVP, Business Development, Community Banking, the Principal will help define the integrated Sales Enablement program at the start of the partnership and will be responsible for tracking program performance, setting measurable KPIs, analyzing outcomes, and recommending continuous improvements based on insights.

  • Collaborate closely with internal support teams and corresponding partner functions to effectively leverage available services and design and deliver integrated programs that drive the success of Community Banking Lending Programs.

  • Design, implement and continuously evolve the sales enablement operating model for Community Banking, including tools, processes, commercial insights, and execution levers that materially influence BD effectiveness and sales outcomes.

  • Contribute to the development of strategic and tactical plans, ensuring alignment between Community Banking Objectives and market needs of under-represented communities. 

  • Identify, prioritize, and lead the deployment of high‑value AI and advanced analytics use cases that enhance effectiveness, decision quality, and client experience.

  • Develop internal / external bi-lateral referral model to drive business volume between other lines of business and Community Banking

  • Lead new growth initiatives from ideation to approval (e.g. Fintech partnership)

 

Performance Metrics, Reporting & Analysis

  • Share accountability with the AVP, Business Development, Community Banking to define, maintain, and evolve a robust performance measurement including the definition of objectives by program, reporting ecosystem, including KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical frameworks aligned to strategic priorities.

  • Provide clear, consistent visibility into program results, trends, and execution quality through performance analysis.

  • Translate data into actionable, fact‑based insights and recommendations to support decision‑making, prioritization, and course correction.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior and front‑line leaders on interpreting results, trade‑offs, and implications for strategy execution and client impact, without direct people management or formal performance accountability.

  • Leverage enterprise tools (e.g., Power BI) to deliver high‑quality reporting, advanced analysis, and decision‑support insights.

 

Planning, Operational Excellence & Execution Monitoring

  • Plan, support, and implement corporate and Line of Business initiatives, including sector strategies and transformation programs

  • Monitor execution progress against defined milestones and success measures, proactively surface dependencies, and execution gaps.

  • Identify and interpret changes in operational and business trends using quantitative and qualitative indicators; communicate insights and recommendations to the business development team and leadership to help prioritize efforts and increase market penetration.

  • Stimulate best‑practice sharing within and across regions to support continuous improvement and execution consistency.

  • Stay current on the economic environment and industry trends in targeted markets and sectors to inform analysis, planning, and recommendations.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years' relevant experience in operations, sales enablement or performance management roles

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable working with complex datasets and KPIs.

  • Superior communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, executive ready materials.

  • Experience in business planning, corporate governance, or strategy/operations roles.

  • Bilingualism mandatory

  • Good knowledge of MS365 and CoPilot
