Oversee daily health, safety, and environmental compliance on construction sites. Conduct inspections and field audits, educate employees on safe work practices and procedures, support supervisors and workers, ensure contractors follow company and client requirements, relay safety information, and participate in health and safety committees and meetings.
Préventionniste
Relevant de la coordonnatrice en santé et sécurité, et en collaboration directe avec l’équipe de gestion du chantier, vous êtes responsable de s’assurer que les opérations sont sécuritaires et respectent le cadre réglementaire établi dans l’entreprise, ainsi que celui du client. Vos tâches incluent des tournées d’inspection, de la sensibilisation, de l’appui aux contremaîtres et aux employés dans l’application des mesures sécuritaires de travail.
Qu’est-ce que ça fait un.e préventionniste ?
- Renseigner les employés sur les bonnes pratiques, la carte de travail et des procédures de travail en SST/environnement, relayer l’information;
- Veiller à la gestion de la SST/environnement au quotidien en s’assurant que les procédures de Fournier sont suivies par tous (incluant les sous-traitants) et que les mesures de sécurité propres au chantier soient aussi respectées;
- Participer aux différents comités et rencontre SST avec Fournier et avec le client;
- Réaliser des audits sur le terrain et les inspections des lieux.
Ce que ça prend pour être préventionniste ?
- 1 an d’expérience en tant que préventionniste;
- Permis de conduire valide;
- Expérience de travail sur divers chantiers;
- Aptitudes en gestion, communication et résolution de problème;
- Formation CoSS (un atout);
- Être capable d’ajuster ses priorités en fonction de ceux des opérations.
