The Role

Solink is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. This position is part of the People Operations team, which designs and operates the systems and processes to deliver an outstanding employee experience to all employees. This role will work with leaders across the Go To Market & Marketing teams and act as a trusted advisor, building the bridge between teams, their people and leadership. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, People & Culture.

What You’ll Do
  • Build Trusted Relationships: Develop strong, consultative partnerships with leaders across your portfolio—understanding their business goals and team dynamics to influence outcomes with credibility and care.

  • Coach & Enable Leaders: Act as a trusted advisor and coach to People Leaders, guiding them through day-to-day HR matters, performance conversations, feedback loops, and employee relations, while embedding P&C initiatives into their teams.

  • Deliver Strategic Insights: Leverage people data and feedback to provide actionable recommendations on organizational design, workforce planning, succession, and structural alignment.

  • Drive Organizational Change: Collaborate with leaders on change management initiatives, structural evolutions, and future-proofing the organization through thoughtful planning and execution.

  • Support Key Moments: Provide guidance and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, including leaves, exits, title and compensation changes, and other people-related transitions.

  • Execute People Programs: Partner with the People Operations team to implement and operationalize core P&C programs such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, compensation cycles, and more.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with teams like Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and Legal to enhance the employee experience and ensure business-wide alignment on people initiatives.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, employment legislation, and best practices. Use this expertise to proactively suggest improvements that enhance Solink’s culture, compliance, and impact.

  • Facilitate Learning & Communication: Deliver training sessions, presentations, and workshops to educate leaders and reinforce people strategies across the organization.

What You Bring

Must-Have:

  • Experienced People Partner: You bring 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with deep exposure to business partnering—working closely with senior leaders such as VPs, Directors, and Department Heads.

  • Trusted Coach & Advisor: You’ve built meaningful, trust-based relationships across all levels of an organization. You know how to influence, advise, and coach with empathy and impact.

  • Strategic & People-First: You approach problems with a proactive, analytical mindset—always considering both business needs and employee experience when crafting solutions.

  • Collaborative Communicator: You have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and can navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, care, and discretion.

  • Calm Under Pressure: You stay composed in ambiguity and complex scenarios, acting with ownership, confidentiality, and a keen attention to detail.

  • Growth-Oriented: You bring a learning mindset, are energized by new challenges, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. No task is beneath you, and no opportunity to contribute is too small.

  • Confident Facilitator: You’re comfortable leading presentations and training sessions, and can communicate effectively with both small groups and large audiences.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with tools like BambooHR, Ashby, and Trello to streamline processes and improve visibility across teams.

  • GTM/Marketing Partnering Experience: Previous experience supporting GTM or Marketing functions as a dedicated HR Business Partner.

Security Requirements
  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
