Googlebook Marketing Overview
With Googlebooks, we’re redefining what laptops can do and how people use them. The marketing team is focused on bringing the magic of this innovative AI-first new product to customers through innovative AI-first full-funnel marketing not just through Google’s first-party marketing but also through our existing partner ecosystem including manufacturers like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer and ASUS and chipset manufacturers including Intel, Qualcomm and MediaTek. We are all set to launch the product this fall and will look to expand our global footprint over time.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Partner Marketing Manager to oversee and execute marketing initiatives with strategic partners. In this role, manage partner relationships, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing external partners, developing marketing playbooks and guidelines, and leading cross-functional reviews to ensure brand consistency and campaign efficacy.
ResponsibilitiesPartner Relationship & Communication Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for select partners, managing marketing communications and facilitating collaborative alignment.
- Schedule, structure, and lead regular partner marketing synchronization meetings, including aligned cross-functional forums, to track deliverables and project timelines.
- Act as an internal liaison to ensure regional teams and cross-functional stakeholders are fully briefed on partner marketing updates and asset availability.
Co-Marketing Campaign Execution
- Coordinate co-marketing plans and campaigns alongside external partners, driving alignment on shared business objectives.
- Manage campaign timelines and work-back schedules, systematically identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on-time delivery.
- Track and report on campaign results, leveraging data to provide actionable optimization recommendations to both internal teams and external partners.
Asset Management & Reviews
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing assets, toolkits, and collateral, based on Google’s marketing guidelines.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute partner marketing playbooks, operational guidelines, and messaging frameworks to streamline partner activation.
- Build sales enablement materials and promotional toolkits to support both internal and external field teams.
- Facilitate creative and brand review processes for co-marketing materials, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and partner legal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, and go-to-market execution.
- Proven experience managing external partner relationships, agency structures, or cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams under tight timelines.
- Experience developing structured marketing documentation, including playbooks, governance guidelines, and training frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to both internal leaders and external corporate partners.
- Experience working within fast-paced technology or hardware ecosystems.
