Velixo is an award-winning vendor of Excel-based reporting solutions for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as Acumatica, MYOB, Cegid and Sage Intacct. We serve customers of every size, in every industry, by enhancing their reporting and planning experience, and introducing a world of innovative features and integrations in the Excel they love.

Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, we are a diverse and fast-paced organization that is rapidly growing in revenue and personnel. Our team is spread out across the world to support a growing base strong of 1800+ customers and 200+ value-added resellers worldwide.

Role Overview

As an Outbound BDR at Velixo, you will be the "tip of the spear" for our sales organization. Your mission is to proactively identify and engage finance and operations leaders who are struggling with manual ERP reporting and data entry. You aren't just selling a tool; you are selling time back to CFOs and Controllers by leveraging the Excel environment they already know and love.

This is a high-impact role designed for a self-starter who thrives on cold outreach and is eager to help build the foundation of our outbound engine in the Sage, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics ecosystems.
We are looking for candidates in North America (Canada or the US).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Prospecting: Identify and research high-fit accounts within the Sage Intacct, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystems.

  • Multi-Channel Outreach: Execute high-volume outbound campaigns (60+ activities/day) using a mix of cold calling, personalized emailing, and LinkedIn engagement.

  • Value-Based Discovery: Conduct initial discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points, specifically around manual data exports, complex consolidations, and "reporting hairballs."

  • Pipeline Generation: Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC and schedule high-quality discovery meetings/demos for Account Executives.

  • Ecosystem Networking: Engage with ERP partners and consultants to identify "greenfield" opportunities where Velixo can solve immediate reporting gaps.

  • CRM Excellence: Maintain meticulous records in our CRM, ensuring all interactions are tracked and follow-ups are executed with precision.

What We’re Looking For

  • The "Hustle" Factor: You have 1–2 years of experience in an outbound-heavy sales role (SaaS experience is a major plus).

  • Excel Literacy: Since our product lives in Excel, you should be comfortable discussing spreadsheets and basic financial workflows (or eager to learn them).

  • ERP: Experience in an ERP ecosystem is a benefit but is not required.

  • Resilience: You view "no" as a data point, not a personal rejection, and you enjoy the challenge of breaking into cold accounts.

  • Communication: You can write a concise, punchy email and hold a confident conversation with a CFO or Controller.

  • Coachability: You crave feedback and are constantly looking for ways to sharpen your "hook" and objection handling skills.

Why Velixo?

  • A Product That Wins: We have a high satisfaction score in the ERP community because our product actually does what it says; it makes reporting "Excel-erate."

  • Growth Path: You will work directly under the Head of Sales, giving you a front-row seat to how a global SaaS sales playbook is built and executed.

  • Impact: As a key member of a lean team, your wins will be highly visible and directly tied to the company's expansion into new ERP markets.

Tech Stack We Use

  • CRM: HubSpot

  • Sales Engagement: HubSpot

  • Research: LinkedIn Sales Navigator / Apollo

  • Internal: Microsoft 365 / Teams
