Phizenix is a technology and talent solutions firm helping companies build high-impact teams and adopt AI-driven solutions. We partner with our clients across talent acquisition, consulting, and workforce transformation to solve real business problems with speed and precision.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager (IC) to drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building pipeline from scratch, owning the full sales cycle, and opening doors with net-new customers. You will be directly responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and closing new business.

Key Responsibilities

New Logo Acquisition & Pipeline Generation
• Identify, prospect, and engage net-new client accounts across target industries
• Own outbound efforts including cold outreach, warm introductions, referrals, and events
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with a strong focus on first-time buyers

Full-Cycle Sales Execution
• Own the sales process end-to-end: discovery, solution positioning, proposals, negotiation, and close
• Clearly articulate Phizenix’s value across talent solutions, consulting, and AI-enabled services
• Work closely with delivery and leadership teams to scope solutions and close deals efficiently

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Develop trusted relationships with HR leaders, IT leaders, business executives, and founders
• Understand client pain points and align Phizenix solutions to business outcomes
• Act as the primary point of contact through the early client lifecycle

Market & GTM Contribution
• Provide market feedback to refine messaging, offerings, and go-to-market strategy
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, thought leadership, and account-based outreach
• Represent Phizenix in client meetings, industry events, and networking forums

Sales Operations & Discipline
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM
• Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue and new-logo targets

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of business development or sales experience as an individual contributor
• Proven success in closing new logos in consulting, staffing, technology services, or SaaS
• Strong prospecting, discovery, and closing skills
• Comfortable selling to both business and technical stakeholders
• Highly self-motivated, structured, and comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment
• Experience using CRM and sales productivity tools

Nice to Have

• Experience selling talent solutions, professional services, or AI/technology consulting
• Familiarity with enterprise or mid-market buyers
• Ability to sell consultatively rather than transactionally

Why Join Phizenix?

• High ownership, high impact individual contributor role
• Direct access to founders and decision-makers
• Opportunity to build new logos and long-term client relationships
• Competitive base + commission structure aligned to performance
