Desjardins Insurance is a subsidiary of Desjardins Group and now a Canadian leader in property and casualty insurance. The company offers personal insurance products for individuals (home, auto, recreational and leisure vehicles) and commercial insurance for businesses through P&C insurance agents across the Desjardins caisse network, in Client Care Centres, online and even via the mobile app. 

👉Your mandate  

Your talent will be put to good use as you contribute to your host team’s diverse and exciting projects and work with professionals in the above-mentioned sectors. You’ll serve as an advisory analyst in a development program designed to help highly skilled professionals develop an integrated vision of the organization’s main sectors. For the first 2 years, you’ll be entrusted with various mandates, such as: 

• Identify and analyze issues; diagnose issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies

• Help identify your unit’s operational risks and opportunities for improvement 

• Help develop and monitor cross-sector initiatives

Once you complete the development program after 2 years, you’ll have all the tools you need to pursue a promising career in one of Desjardins’s sectors based on its business needs and your interests.

How to succeed in this role ?

• Possess problem-solving and human relations skills, the ability to build interpersonal relationships and quickly adapt to changing work environments

• Able to work independently, demonstrate curiosity and possess excellent analytical skills

• Prioritize building relationships proactively and demonstrate flexibility

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Be a graduate student in a master of business administration program and have completed at least 30 out of 45 credits

• Knowledge of French is required

• Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
