Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce integrations, 6sense, tracking, and ad-tech tools. Maintain lead routing, scoring, lifecycle automation, data governance, nurture workflows, campaign reporting, attribution, and ROI dashboards. Partner with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Analytics to improve funnel visibility, ABM orchestration, campaign execution, compliance, and AI-enabled automation. Educate stakeholders and translate technical solutions into scalable marketing operations processes.
The Marketing Operations Manager will serve as a collaborative partner and technical owner within Vena's Revenue Operations team, helping Marketing move fast and with confidence by keeping our systems stable, our data reliable, and campaign execution friction-free.
This individual will bring a healthy balance of technical and analytical experience to build and maintain the operational backbone of our marketing engine, from martech stack administration and data governance to lifecycle automation and measurement frameworks, enabling the broader GTM organization (Marketing, Sales, and Partner) to achieve its objectives with full confidence in the operational components and clear visibility into the metrics.
This is a hands-on role for a builder: someone who has inherited fragmented or messy systems before, developed a plan, and executed on streamlining them. You'll partner daily with Marketing, RevOps, Analytics, and Sales to ensure clean data flows through the funnel, translate marketing strategy into scalable automation, and help define how Vena scales intelligently
Key Responsibilities
- Act as administrator and technical owner of Vena's marketing technology stack (HubSpot, Salesforce integration, 6Sense, tracking and tagging, and related ad-tech integrations), maintaining reliability and data accuracy across the platform
- Maintain and update lead capture, routing, scoring, and lifecycle management frameworks that ensure data integrity and a seamless handoff between Marketing and Sales
- Drive and operationalize full-funnel automated nurture strategies and campaign workflows in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales Operations
- Identify and implement AI-enabled automation, segmentation, and reporting enhancements that improve speed, data quality, and decision-making, while ensuring responsible AI usage and governance alignment
- Ensure marketing campaigns adhere to privacy and compliance standards, and support the department's clean-data goals through diligent adherence to data capture best practices
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into campaign performance, lifecycle conversion, pipeline impact, and marketing ROI
- Work with Sales Operations to ensure seamless integration with Vena's CRM system, so that key sales events flow back into the marketing tech stack for campaign and attribution visibility
- Educate Marketing and the wider RevOps team about marketing automation capabilities and the team's role in enhancing the buyer's journey
- Play a key role in developing and driving ABM orchestration from an operations standpoint
- Communicate complex, technical solutions clearly to Marketing and Revenue Operations stakeholders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, enhancing processes, tools, reporting, metrics, and policies
- Proven experience owning or administering a marketing technology stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), including data governance and systems integration work
- A “Client Centric” attitude and experience
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, and effectively communicate those prioritizations
- Successful track record in B2B, SaaS lead generation
- Experience configuring, implementing, and building flows within HubSpot
- Demonstrated experience with other tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, 6sense, attribution platforms, or similar
- Strong project management skills, including experience operating within sprint-based or agile delivery frameworks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects based on priorities and deadlines
- Strong communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
