This Position reports to:

Service Sales Manager
 

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and business development strategy for ABB Electrification Services (ELSE) in Canada. In this role, you will define and implement the ELSE Canada marketing strategy in alignment with commercial objectives and M&S initiatives. You will design and execute integrated marketing and business development action plans to drive impactful B2B campaigns, generate qualified leads, achieve revenue targets, and support pipeline development. You'll collaborate closely with the Market Development team, M&S Manager, Global ELSE Marketing team, and local sales teams to drive portfolio awareness and growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Work Model: Hybrid - This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Sales team

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Define and implement ELSE Canada marketing and business development strategy aligned with M&S commercial initiatives, Global ELSE roadmap, and performance objectives; manage the marketing budget and action plans.

  • Collaborate with Market Development team to map market intelligence, identify service launches, and develop go-to-market strategies for new service introductions.

  • Plan, execute, and measure integrated B2B marketing campaigns (digital, content, events) aligned with revenue targets and portfolio growth; lead key campaigns and tradeshows to generate qualified leads.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide market insights to support business decision-making and business development pursuits.

  • Lead implementation of digital and integrated platforms (SFDC, ServIS, Power BI) for customer intelligence and campaign effectiveness.

  • Support commercial transformation initiatives, internal cross-divisional promotion, and organizational collaboration across sales, operations, and global teams.

  • Ensure all activities align with ABB values, code of conduct, and compliance standards; champion HSE standards and foster positive organizational culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field with minimum 8 years of progressive B2B marketing experience in industrial, services, or technology sectors.

  • Proven expertise in B2B marketing strategy development, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and lead management.

  • Strong budget management and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets effectively and drive measurable ROI.

  • Market analysis and competitive intelligence capabilities with business development experience; proven ability to support sales and business development teams.

  • Proficiency with digital platforms, CRM systems (SFDC, ServIS), marketing automation, and analytics tools (Power BI); demonstrated data analysis skills.

  • Project and events management expertise with proven success collaborating with global teams in matrix organizations.

  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written. French is required. English is also necessary for regular communication with customers outside Quebec.
