As a Director of Annuity Product Marketing, this position will manage a team of product marketing strategists and consultants who create comprehensive marketing campaigns to meet business objectives for the annuity product line, including product positioning, product materials, sales concepts, and B2B go-to-market strategies. The person in this role must have experience developing marketing strategy, a strong understanding of annuities, deep knowledge of the industry, and the ability to build relationships and collaborate closely with business partners and stakeholders. This person is a player / coach with the ability to build a high-performing team, while also able to produce marketing deliverables.

We are a highly collaborative team that supports marketing needs across all MassMutual product lines and distribution channels. We work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on attention-to-detail, agility and follow-through. The Impact:
- Participates in marketing annual and quarterly planning by deeply understanding business priorities and goals, and building a plan to support achieving them
- Manages team capacity and priorities, including doing the work when needed
- Build a culture that rewards achieving results, as well as one that fosters psychological safety to try new things, learn together and perform at a high level
Leads and develops the team that:
- Builds product marketing strategies for annuities to drive revenue results for the business
- Drives customer-centricity into the product roadmap by consistently championing the voice of customer and advisor in the product development lifecycle
- Creates core product collateral to easily communicate how we meet client and financial professional needs
- Leads marketing center of excellence partners in key marketing planning and execution activities
- Engages distribution teams and business stakeholders for buy-in and input
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; or an equivalent combination of education and at least 10+ years of relevant financial services experience.
- 7+ years of marketing experience including annuities and marketing to advisors and consumers.
- 2+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring team members.
- 2+ years of experience driving Marketing strategy including B2B, B2B2B, and B2C traditional marketing funnel activities across various mediums.
- Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check.

- Extremely strong written communication skills, with demonstrated creative and message development.
- Ability work in a cross functional team and provide clear and concise message that drives engagement from those using our content.
- Proven success juggling multiple priorities through strong project management skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels within and outside the Marketing organization.
- Ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies
- Microsoft office - Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, SharePoint, Box and Outlook.
